For encoders that are under warranty, there will be no charge to repair the encoder, out of warranty encoders will have a cost to repair, the cost will be provided in the form of a repair quotation and will follow the RMA process. This will take into consideration the repair required plus labour costs and a shipping charge will also apply to return the unit.
Once a quotation is provided it is up to the customer whether they wish to proceed with the repair should the customer not wish to proceed there are a few options:
Collect the unit unfixed.
Purchase a new encoder.
Request Digital Barriers to dispose of the encoder.
