For your server signature to be amended, submitting a new request is the only way to get a new licence if the server’s signature changes or nodes are added to an MSR deployment.

You will need to create a licence file request from the new server in question, ensuring you use the correct DB sales order reference within the file itself so the Operations team can identify your estate within our licence tool. Please follow steps outlined under section titled ‘How do I get a licence key?’.

It is super helpful when submitting this request to licences@digitalbarriers.com to advise this is a hardware signature change, the Operations team will record your old hardware signature for our records in case you ever need to revert back to the old server. The new server will be applied to your estate and a new licence key will be provided; you will need to install this key onto the new server for the change to be applied.

Within each estate there is the main hardware signature and there is an option to have a back-up server signature, this means you can use the licences on two servers, and you will be provided with a key for each server.
