EdgeVis Video Vault is a secure web-based evidence management system.

Video Vault collects evidence from your fleet of body-worn cameras and allows it to be stored, managed, edited and shared. Evidence can be reviewed and managed by authorised users from any PC, smartphone or tablet.

Body Worn Cameras

VideoVault v14 supports both the BW600 and BW500 body worn cameras. Support information for body worn cameras can be found here: EdgeVis Body Worn.

VideoVault v14 Licensing Process

VideoVault v14 requires a licence for each camera added to the system. The licence should be requested from Digital Barriers before installing VideoVault v14. To request a licence, follow these instructions: VideoVault v14 - How to request and import a licence.

VideoVault v10 to v14 Upgrade Instructions

Upgrading from VideoVault v10 to v14 is a multi-step process. To ensure the upgrade goes smoothly, refer to the instructions in VideoVault v14 Upgrade Process.

The Dock Controller firmware must also be upgraded to v14.

Upgrading v10.x Dock Controllers Choose the correct file depending on the existing firmware version. If the existing dock is V10.X then use the 10 to 12 image file before upgrading to the latest version, which is available from our Download Center.

Camera Device Profile Configuration

This default device profile for BW600 and BW500 can be downloaded and imported directly into VideoVault: BW600 and BW500 Default Device Profile

To generate a camera device profile configuration file, select the configuration file generator that matches your camera model:
