Layouts allow multiple views of assets on a single screen. Layouts can contain multiple video views, a map and alerts in many different combinations.
Layouts can be saved as an Activity to be opened later. Activities can also be automatically opened when the application starts.
Tabs
Tabs operate just like tabs in a modern web browser. Multiple tabs can be open at the same time.
Tabs can also be saved as activities. When a tab is closed it is automatically added to the ‘Recent activity’
The HOME
tab is always on the left and cannot be closed. New tabs can be opened in several ways;

Recent activity - Every time a layout is opened, an asset or alert is viewed, the activity is auto saved for quick re-opening.

Suggested layouts
The most used layouts are shown on the home screen. Select Show All
to display all the available layouts.
Layouts use icons to signify what will be in each region, hover over the layout for a description.
Each layout can have multiple components in different configurations.
Selecting the above layout will open a tab with six areas, four of which are video components, one in an alert component and the other a map component.
Recent activity
Activities are layouts that have been open and populated. Activities can be created in many ways, either by opening a Layout, selecting an asset from the asset list and viewing it or by picking an alert and viewing it.
When the activity is closed (by closing its tab) it is automatically added to the recent activities.
Saved activity
Activities can be saved for later retrieval. Activities can be created in many ways, either by opening a Layout, selecting an asset from the asset list and viewing it or by picking an alert and viewing it.
From the MORE
menu (top right hand corner of the application) pick SAVE ACTIVITY
or select the ‘+’ icon in the Saved Activity section.
Multiple tabs can be saved. Select the tabs you want to store in the activity.
Not all tabs can be saved. Tabs with temporary state, such as full resolution or settings, can not be saved.
Give the activity a name and description. Recently saved activities will be on the home screen. Select Show all
in the Saved activity section to view all available saved activities.
Restoring activity on start-up
A saved activity can automatically be restored on starting the application. See settings for more information.
Deleting saved or recent activities
Select Show all
in the Recent activity or Saved activity section. Select MANAGE
.
DELETE ALL
will delete all the activities from that section, or pick the specific activity to delete and select DELETE
.
