Configuring and using PTZ
Milestone Xprotect supports the following PTZ features within the EdgeVis system
Pan Tilt and Zoom using the on-screen controls
Iris up, down and Reset
Focus controls
Recall of first 50 EdgeVis PTZ Presets
The current EdgeVis PTZ features are not currently supported from Milestone XProtect

Import PTZ Presets
To import the presets from the EdgeVis Encoder
Open the Milestone Xprotect Management Server and open the Recording server. Expand the EdgeVis encoder and select the camera
Navigate to the Presets Tab
Choose the Get option, this will retrieve the first 50 EdgeVis PTZ Preset Names
This is a one-way import, it is not possible to set PTZ presets from the Milestone XProtect client.
Note: If the import does not work, ensure that the EdgeVis PTZ channel is not is use by another user.
