What firewall ports does VMS Gateway use?

You can get a live version of these details (including all IP addresses) from your VMS Gateway installation by selecting the Settings button on your homepage, scrolling down to the Networking setup section and clicking View.

The primary machine in your VMS Gateway cluster needs the following open:

6443 (TCP - incoming)

Node communications

80 (TCP - incoming)

(Optional) Redirect to port 443

443 (TCP - incoming)

User web interface

9443 (TCP - outgoing: Edgevis server IP)

EdgeVis web API

Each virtual ONVIF devices you create within VMS Gateway will appear on your network with its own IP address and use the following ports:

3702 (UDP multicast - incoming)
