From the encoder local web interface
Encoder log files may be obtained by navigating to the Advanced page in the Settings menu of the encoder's local web interface navigation.
Once on this page, you can select the level of logging you wish to download:
From EdgeVis Server
NOTE: This requires version 8.7.1 firmware and EdgeVis Server
It's now possible to download the encoder logs remotely from the EdgeVis Server web interface.
Navigate to your encoder's configuration page
Near the bottom there will be a Download developer logs option:
This will ask to you confirm
The encoder will then prepare and send its logs to the server - this can take several minutes depending on how many logs are on the encoder:
Once ready, the logs will automatically start to download in your browser.
