How do I know what licences I have purchased?

Introduction

While some customers may have only made a single license purchase and have a simple estate to manage, others may have made yearly purchases that contain licences with multiple licence types and/or different expiry dates.

This article explains how to review your purchases and get a view on the individual status of each licence you have ever purchased.

Reviewing your licences

Log into CLS and open your estate, and you will see a high-level summary of all your valid licences.

This shows all of your different licence purchases flattened into the number of each lincence types that you can use with your licence pools.

Detailed View

If you click the Show detailed licences button it will take you to a list of all you licence purchases.

Every time you have purchased a licence (either directly or through a reseller), a sales order is generated in our system, and this contains one or more licences purchases.

This page lists every sales order that has been entered into CLS for your organisation:

Each entry shows:

  • The Digital Barriers sales order. If you have purchased via a reseller, this number may be different to the PO number they have supplied as part of your order - please contact your partner if you need additional verification that the two numbers tie up.

  • The licence expiry date. The date at which point the licence is no longer valid, and requires renewal to restore capability.

  • The licence status. If your licence is expired, the expiry date will be displayed in red. If licence is on hold (e.g. due to non-payment) there will be an ON HOLD pill below the SO number.

  • The licence type. One-In-One-Out or Four-In-One-Out are the valid SaaS licence types.

  • The licence count. How many licences are contained in this sales order.

Should any of your licences be in an Expired or On Hold state, please contact support who can assist in resolving the issue.
